Temporary Banners For Quick Signs

Banner signs have come a long way over the past years, and they have become very versatile. They are used almost everywhere you look, and have also replaced more permanent signs. Instead of wooden signs or plexiglass signs, we now often see a vinyl banner, which serves the purpose very well.

These days, the most common material for outdoor banners is a smooth, durable and good looking vinyl. Vinyl banners can stand the sun and the rain for a number of years, and so it is often used in situations where a quick and low cost alternative is required.

Occasionally, vinyl signs will be a temporary substitute, before a more permanent sign is erected in its place. At other times, where the site is just temporary (eg. construction sites, special events), a vinyl banner will be all that you’ll see.

The greatest advantage of vinyl is that it is very flexible and lightweight. This means that the banners can be easily folded or rolled up and easy to transport. They are also cheap compared to other signage.

What has made vinyl banners so versatile is that they can be printed in wonderful digital full color. Printing a vinyl banner used to be a tedious process, but it has changed with the digital revolution. Special printing machines can now print directly onto vinyl banners which can be used indoors or outdoors.

The design and printing process is fairly simple. Banner designs can include anything from photographs to artwork, fancy backgrounds or logos. In other words, any digital image stored on the computer can be printed on a vinyl banner.
